Edwin J. Sims, DDS
Dr. Edwin Sims received his dental education at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, graduating in 1983 with a DDS degree, after earning a BS in chemistry from the University of Oregon in 1980.
He began his general dental practice in Anchorage, Alaska, serving as dental director of the Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center before returning to Sacramento, his wife Heidi’s hometown, in 1988.
Dr. Sims completed advanced studies at the Pankey Institute in 2008 and continues applying its philosophy of listening closely to patients and providing them the education to make informed decisions about their care.

Our office is conveniently located in Midtown Sacramento near the intersection of Highways 50, 99 and Business-80 — one block from Sutter’s Fort on the northwest corner of 26th Street and Capitol Avenue.
Parking is available on the street (2-hour meters or non-metered) or at the Sutter Community Parking Garage, four blocks away on 28th Street between Capitol Avenue and N Street (credit cards only).
Bus service is available from Sacramento Regional Transit — the closest stop to our office is at L and 29th Streets.
